Who is Peter Anderton?
Peter is a high-performance team engineer who works with senior managers who are serious about developing their leadership teams. He really understands how people, teams and organizations work – and uses his understanding to bring about change that lasts.
Peter’s career began as an engineer working with real teams, in the real world, making real things happen. Over 25 years he went from engineering world-class teams to developing 3M, a global science-based conglomerate.
During his final years at 3M he worked with the board – and their leadership teams – as the UK Organisational Development Manager.
The core themes throughout his career have been engineering, science and teams. He’s an engineer who really understands how people, teams and organisations work. He uses his understanding to bring about change that lasts. He is a high-performance team engineer.
His TEDx talk “Great leadership comes down to only two rules” has been incredibly well-received. In fact, it’s been watched by well over half a million people and is now being used in MBA programmes around the world.

Problems are discussed without ever really resolving them, team members reserve what they really think for private corridor conversations AFTER the meetings, and no-one holds anyone else accountable for the things they do – or don’t do – so the same issues just keep cropping up again and again. It causes countless problems, untold inertia and never-ending frustration.”
